Is punctuality important in Korean culture? At least when attending church?

Our church is having financial trouble, so we invited a Korean church to share the rent. We're a Chinese church, and we have a tendency to come to church late, whereas they like to go to church early. Is this a cultural thing?
Well, we're not completely Chinese, we have a few Southeast Asians and Whites. Our pastor is Korean, but his wife is white. We're mostly American-born, I think the other church is mostly South Korean-born.
I'm not really worried about the people at the other church being controlling; they're really nice people. I noticed that they pray more than we do.

Wow.

For some reason I get the feeling tensions might rise between you two churches. The Koreans wanting to take control, and know that you need them to keep your church out of financial trouble, giving them more fuel to the fire.

But to answer your question..I really don't know.
