turn away business? Is it just worthless to have or what?
My mother went through about a year in a half of radiation and chemo treatments she's been off of it for several months, hasn't had any new problems with the insurance companies or health related until recently.
She's been complaining about her stomach hurting and got it checked out. Where she had a tumor that was in her womb and was receiving radiation in that region - her womb is obviously burnt and infection as built up. The doctor said well you need some antibodies to help clear it up and boost your immune system. So he got her squared away and said they needed to contact her insurance company to cover the costs, and it should take about 2 days before everything is all set and she can get her prescription at a pharmacy.
So 2 days came by, called the doctor he said no reply from the insurance company. 3, 4, 5, 6 days went by still no reply. My mom already had to take several days off of work because she can't work with that much pain. Now its about on the 11th day of waiting and she called me this morning telling me she has took off work and is going to a free clinic to get her antibodies because the insurance companies just ain't doing shit for her.
So aren't insurance companies just diverting the business away for them because they are greedy scumbags? And what's all this talk about LONG WAITS WITH OBAMA'S PLAN? My mom has waited nearly 2 weeks for her insurance company to get off there ass and do something, she left from home at 8AM went to the clinic and got home at 10:14AM exactly was when she called - and got her antibodies FREE.
Yes I know a lot of people go and abuse the system, but I'm sure there are a lot of Americans who go out to clinics simply because they are tired of waiting for their greedy insurance companies to do something.
Why can't Americans see that these politicians defending these insurance companies are usually the ones in bed with them?
I'm not saying I agree with Obama's plan, but with the way the system is set it it almost promotes universal health care - and YOU KNOW the system is broken. These insurance companies get away with far too much and its unbelievable how many politicians cover their asses, not only is that Un-American, immoral, but that is called fascism.
The greed of the health care industry is the core cause of this health care crisis.
People are fed up with insane prices, and lack of service.

I said I don't support Obama's health care. My mom's experience is an example that our system is broke, and it's almost as if it set up to PROMOTE socialized medicine.
Our system needs to be fixed, and politicians that are for corporations and greed need to be voted out because they are serving them and not US. Corporations are not citizens neither are insurance companies.
