is poetry.com legitimate?

i submitted a poem and was qualified as a semi-finalist. and i really dont think its real.
 
no me either. its like every poem i submitted there, even one when i was like 8 (and it was beyond stupid) i have been a so called "Semi finalist"

i really dont think so,
but go with your gut feeling.
 
I was too and they wanted money, so either we both are the next Shakespeares or its not legit

we may be pretty darn good, but I think its a rip
 
Nope, I don't think that it's real either. And they want YOU to PAY to go to L.Vegas when YOU might be getting the prize, PSSHT! If we were, then THEY would pay, right? Hah, I've stopped sending poems there, I haven't found a web where I could send them, you have one? I submitted a poem that I thought was the most boring I've written and now they're sending all sorts of praise . . . " You Poem Received First Place ....." "Your Poem has Won and IPOD Shuffle!" hah, yeah right!
