It's a classic "Good cop-Bad cop" ruse.
Obama could make this whole thing go away with a simple signature on an executive order. Yet, despite his posturing against it, he won't do the one thing to insure the photos are not released.
They think we're idiots.
When the photos are released, and the lives of US military people are endangered, Al Queda has a huge recruiting tool and the US is embarrassed, Obama will feign the same outrage as when he "recently learned" that federal bailout money will go towards executive bonuses.
It's as tired a routine as "Who's on First?"
