My boyfriend and I have been looking around for houses to rent and Palm Springs seems to have very resonable prices for 2-3 bedroom houses. Apartments are also resonable. Neither of us have actually been there. We just hear that it is veeeeery HOT, there are a lot of retired/seniors living there, not many jobs, lots of casino and hotels, golf and tennis on like every corner... So far, we feel that we could handle all of that. Oh and we also hear that it's pretty diverse. We wouldn't want to stick out and be uncomfortable. I'd just like for someone who either currently lives there or who has lived there to tell me of their experience and to tell me if much of what we heard is true. We do plan to visit before making the move but I thought this might also help.
Is Palm Springs a good place for a young couple and baby to live?
