is pain during sex [pain on cervix...feels like he's hitting something hard inside me]

a sign of pregnancy? i just started spotting today but still no full period. i'm wondering if this could be a sign or if i could be pregnant. i've never felt that before. i was on top and felt like i couldnt fully 'go at it' because it felt like it was thumping against something....like my cervix hardened.
