Is Obama causing people all over the world to stop buying GM and Chrysler cars?

The President did not force them into bankruptcy, The company like so many others (the big businesses) did not have a good financial plan. Like most, it was probably caused by corporate greed.

News out today: sales in the last three months (Apr, May, Jun) dropped sharply for both GM and Chrysler.

Ford (no bailout, no forced bankruptcy) remained steady.
Overall Ford sales are down 0.02%.

How exactly is that "still going down"?
Mystic, you're a moron.

Reading unaudited quarterly reports doesn't make anyone racist. Put the dope down and pay attention:

Dealerships are being closed as a result of Obama's policies. Dealerships sell cars. Fewer dealerships, fewer cars sold.

Get it?
Bash: Given a choice between reading corporate earnings published with the SEC, and a journalists point of view of the reports, I'm, uh, going with the reports.

Lets look at that one with some basic common sense, No government interference= success------- government interference= guaranteed failure show me one government sponsored act that actually did what it was supposed to do!?!

Of course it is!!

If Hurricane Katrina and global warming were Bush's fault, then this is definitely Obama's fault. Why? Well, it's gotta be somebody's fault, and we all know it's certainly not the fault of the corrupt and thuggish (taxpayer subsidized) unions actually behind the downfall of both companies. Is it?

It can't possibly be!! I know 'cause the drive-by media said so!!

Completely false....do you bother to read the news at all??

In the US: "
General Motors dealers in the United States delivered 176,571 total vehicles in June, down 33.6 percent compared with a year ago. However, when comparing GM’s June retail sales with May, volume was up 10 percent, or more than 13,000 cars, crossovers and trucks, resulting in the fourth consecutive month-over-month retail sales increase. "

In China: sales UP 38% http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/djf500/200906302309DOWJONESDJONLINE000685_FORTUNE5.htm

I won't be buying cars from those companies even though they make quality products. To those who say they make crap can you explain why my last two Chrysler vehicles went 347,000 and 262,000 miles before I retired them due to rust? My current Dodge truck has 224,000 miles and is still going strong. I need to add that these are all work trucks that carry hundreds of pounds of equipment every day. Now that Chrysler is owned by the UAW I can't buy from them and feel good about it. The same goes for Government Motors. I won't give the government any more money than the laws require. Since the Obama plan orchestrated these changes in ownership my answer to your question is yes. My next work truck will be a Ford van or Freightliner Sprinter.
