I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix and with everything changing with the dealerships now a days I am wondering if I should sell it or hold on to it. Professional opinions would be greatly appreciated.

There's no reason to get rid of it because Pontiac is being shut down. Parts will still be available and any service/warranty work can be done at ANY GM dealership.

There's no need to rush into a decision like that because of Pontiac's situation. You're fine, there's nothing to worry about. The only thing that might suck is if you're in a remote area and your local Pontiac dealer is closing and there's no other GM dealership in the area.

Other than that there's no reason to get rid of it unless you're just looking to get into a newer car.

if it runs fine and doesnt require lots of money to be put into it, keep it. there will still be parts for it. unless you really want a new car and you want this to be the reason to sell it

do you think other people will look to buy a pontiac with the problems that GM is having now ??

I'd hold on to it for a while and maybe selling it later or trade it in when it starts to give you problems for a differnet brand.

I wouldnt sell it just yet
