Is not having sweat glands on your feet and hands weird?

This may seem like a weird question but I do not have sweat glands on the soles of my feet or the palms of my hands. I never really thought about it until my husband told me that is odd. Is it? The perks are no sweaty feet or palms but my hands and feet need tons of moisture or they get dry and very hard. I know this is genetic because my mother and son have the same characteristics.

Just wondering if anyone knows about this - is there a name for it? I searched online but could not find anything. Anyone else have these same characteristics?

Oh yeah - I sweat PROFUSELY everywhere else.
