Is natural gas sometimes used as car fuel in America?

If yes, what is it called ? Also "gas".
Here in Egypt, we sometimes use Gasoline, and sometimes natural gas. Is this the same case in America?
And in this case what do you call it, "gas" or "natural gas"?
 
Yes, although it is not very common.
It is called 'natural gas' and it is most used in Utah (western USA).

Right now, natural gas is about 1/3 of the price of regular gas in the US.
