JOB FINDING
Today around 9:30AM , I decided to do more job searching in the west Columbia area around Wal-mart .Before I got ready to leave the house , I checked my e-mail to see if any employers had sent me any messages . Scrolling through my e-mails I saw a job.com message and clicked to see what it was about . The link took me to the main website that had a list of jobs in Columbia and I came across one employer that just added help wanted on the site.
After reading the info the employer provided , I was interested and went to apply. While talking to the employer about the job , I learned that they pay 8.25 an hour ,7 hours a day , 5 day a week .They didn't have an normal application you normally fill out at most jobs , so I had to write down my info on a paper card. While we were discussed my qualifications , he seemed interested and decided to call me on the weekend.
I believe I made the right choice today , if I listened to Jan and stayed home while waiting from her to come home, I would of missed the chance to apply at Biscuit House . I don't know if the employer will call me to hire me or to interview me farther, but I know I can get the job. If I get the job next week , then that would be great. I never would of thought I could get a job this fast in this bad economy.
When I came home after joy riding in my dad's truck, I started calculating how much money I would be making with this employer. It seems like a good place to work based on the area its in , even thought its a little farther away from home. Nonetheless, working at Biscuit House should be worth working at .
Based on the info I read about Biscuit House and what they are offering , I should be making more money then expected from when I made an estimation a few weeks ago . However, its is unclear about the pay raise system at Biscuit House, but getting payed 8.25 at start is good .
