is my wrist fractured???

i hurt my wrist a few days ago when i was tossing my rifle (made of wood) it landed right where my arm and wrist come together, theres a knot on my wrist whitch i think is a bone it hurts on top and the side of my wrist. the side of my wrist is swelled and the bone fews funny.

what do you think it is?
 
you certainly might have a hairline fracture or chip. If you can move all your fingers and move your fingers, and move your wrist around well...your wrist probably isn't broken in the sense that most people think. For hairline fractures, they usually just tell you to ice it and take pain meds. If you have insurance, get an xray just to make sure, but you are probably fine (relative to needing a cast) :-)
