is my wii broken because it cant read game disks and the disks are clean and

scratch free? For some reason, my wii will play a game disc like tmnt smash up, but will have an error message saying i should eject the game disc and turn the power off and consult my wii operations manual. is it broken? because it started doing it today when ive had the system since 2007. Or is it a virus ive never heard about?
 
I had this problem you can call Nintendo about it and you can send it to them for 2 weeks it was free for me I don't know if they will still do it for free but they might extend your warranty for another year.
 
my wii had the same problem, try seeing if your putting them in correctly and all the cords are plugged in corectly, its highgly unlikelyyour wii is broked
