Is my TX backlight messed up or not?

I just got a replacement TX and the backlight is visible on the right hand side, is that normal? I didn't remember seeing that on the first one I got (I brought it back due to a faulty pixel)....

It's really annoying. But am I just being weird?

PS - I just wanted to know if it's something I should return it for. Should that edge look like all the other edges?

It makes it really distracting when I watch movies, and I didn't notice it on the previous TX I had.

I need to know quickly so I can return it if it's not normal...

Have it replaced while you can, mate. You paid for a perfectly running and flawless PDA. So you deserve no less.

I went through four replacements with my then T|E before I settled on an almost perfect one. The last one lasted for a year without any problems until I decided to trade-up for the TX.

Last friday I bought a new Palm TX, I could test it in the shop but just later at home I found that it has a lit pixel, right left to the exclamation mark circle printed in the protective screen film that comes installed, and it also has the screen off to the left, so the backlight is visible all across the right side, quite disgusting thing.
The retailer has another pair of TXs and says these too has the backlight issue, though he says next week he is receiving a new batch of TX and he will replace my unit.
Just to help him, I sent him the link to LCD Analizer and instructions to easily detect the backlight problem.
Previously I had a Tungsten E2 with drop dead after just two months, due to a dreaded stuck reboot screen. That one was replaced by Palm support itself, but Customs in my country made it onerous to pick my replaced palm
I hope to have this TX replaced, because at this rate of quality issues, I won't be thinking about buying another palm for quite some years.
