from inside while "armed"? My 2001 Toyota Solara was broken into the other day. They pried the window out a little, then pulled it up off the track over the bumpers. The safelight guy who repaired my window today told me they probably popped the window out, then reached in and unlocked it, then opened the door. I tried it today. I got in, locked the car with the remote, then unlocked it manually and opened the door and the alarm did not go off. Is that normal with a factory stock "security" system? When does the alarm actually go off? (Without me pressing the panic button on the key-fob) Should I invest in a newer, better security system?
