Is my sub or amp blown?

It worked fine for about two month and then it just stopped. Every time turn it on it, the amp goes into protection mode.
Is the sub blown? or is the amp fried?
What could have caused it? How can I check?
What can I do to fix it?
 
take a test light and put the ground on the ground to the amp, take the other one and place it on the positive-no light ,then your not getting power from the power supply inside the amp...is it poppin fuses or just protecting?
