Is my son's name weird?

I absolutely love my sons name! But when someone asks me what his name is they say "what was that" and i will say it again and they say its very weird and unusual.

His name is Athrun.

Yes it might seem unusual to some but i absolutely love it. He suits it so much!!

Wht do you all think?
Details added - yes i chose it because it was unique, doctors always said i could never concieve. Athrun means Hero so he was my hero.

I would NEVER regret that i called him Athrun. Its a beautiful name for my gorgeous little boy!

It is different. I have never heard it before. When people hear a new or original name they are going to ask you to repeat it to make sure they have it right! My son's middle name is Brien (family O'Brien) and my grandma thought his name was Ryan until she died. Even common names can be misheard!!

Honestly it is weird and unusual but I dont think you should take it as a bad thing! Im assuming you chose the name because it IS unique!
