Is my phone complete gone?

I fell into the pool with my cell phone in my pocket and i took out the battery and sim card last night. When i put back everything and tried to turn on my phone it didn't work. So i left the battery in my phone, while i was driving my phone started to get REALLY hot and i took out the battery again. Is my phone complete gone? And is there anyway i can fix it?
 
this same exact thing happened to me and my razr never worked again..ive heard if you put all your cell parts (phone battery sim) in a jar of uncooked white rice, the rice will draw out the moisture

put them in the jar of rice seperately for 3 days.. then try it

if it still doesnt work ur probably screwed.
