is my fuel pump bad? dodge intrepid?

My car occasionally stalling during low speeds. I have noticed it sometimes idles low. (500-600 RPMS normally its 800-1000). Also I have noticed once there was a hesitation of about 1 second from which hit the accelerator and from when the RPMS actually increased. (I know the transmission isn't slipping). IS this my fuel pump going out?

I have a 3.5L auto dodge intrepid
