Okay so i have an '05 hyundai accent, and my friend is making my audio system better. I am a noob and know absolutely nothing about anything :S My friend is a mechanic and has his own car hooked up with crazy bass and amp and speaker....
We just got myself a nice sony ipod deck installed... i personally thought the next thing we would get is speakers to replace my factory ones, since i dont want them to blow or to have crappy quality...
my friend thinks we should skip speakers altogether and just get a subwoofer and a amp and he will "tune" my speakers so they wont blow?
I know im not the expert or anything, but does this sound right?
and any side notes on where to get inexpensive car audio gear, or best deals? thanks in advance, and full points...
I listen to a strange mix of metal (lots of double kick and guitar riffs) and hip hop, and i like my musc LOUD.... but bassy too...
