I'm 14 and we had to write a poem for class. I tried to make it a free verse. I usually dont do that. Opnions?
Cannons in my head
Seeing those people
shot, dead
Knowing there is nothing I can do to help
Just run
Try to muffle her yelp.
These people I barely glance at are dying left and right
while the killer slips off
dissapearing into the night
To grasp whats just gone down is something I'll never be able to do
Thinking of everyone
my mind rushing to you.
Will I ever see you again?
Send me a sign
let me know your fine.
Living through this might as well be hell

No time to yell?
Grab your loved ones
go run away
don't try to be noble
please don't stay.

Go take your friends and set them free.
