Is my fish pregnant? (new to fish breeding . . .)?

Egg-layers can't be seperated from the males. The femalse lay the eggs and the males fertilize them once they are outside of the body and on the ground. Moving them to an uncycled tank could be deadly anyway.

Dropsy is a disease that makes a fish bloat up. You should research dropsy.

I have three zebra danios, so first I'm wondering how to tell the difference between a male and a female? Two of them have a somewhat angular anal fin and the third has a rounded one. The one with the rounded one (whom I assume is a female) is getting mysteriously plumper, and whenever I see her pooping, it is red. I don't know if that signifies anything, but whatever. I heard that danios lay eggs on the ground, so how should I go about doing this? (I have a ten gallon tank with two serpae tetras, two catfish and three danios, so they'll probably eat the eggs.) I also have a small, empty tank I can set up in my basement in case she is pregnant.

Answers appreciated! Thank you! :)
