Here is some info. you might want to know.
My tank is 14 gallons
Only contains 2 platies (male and female) right now
The tank has been running for about 3 and a half weeks now
Okay, Here is my question. Last time I went to the fish store, my tank was doing great because I have just gotten to the stage of nitrogen cycle and past the ammonia cycle. One day I came home from school and my female platy had a small hole in her tail... I though oh, it should clear up. Well then another day I came home from school (4:00) and noticed the hole ripped even bigger and now it's pretty big. I'm thinking she is just stressed but now my other fish (male) is acting all weird. He just lays there at the bottom of the tank all day and doesn't move... hes not dead because he's still breathing and the female with the hole in her tail, seems more active then the male. What's wrong with my male AND female fish?!
