hiding behind its rock and wont eat a fisherman gave it too me because he caught it from the ocean and he said i should keep it so i got a very large fish bowl will sea water with stone from the sea and sand but he keeps hiding is the cave i made him and im afraid he will die i take him to the sea every morning in his travel jar and he swims in the rock pools and then he sleeps at his bowl but recently he hasn't been swimming happily in the rock pools he just sits in the corner

He is not only depressed, he is dieing. Ocean fish HAVE to have a steady flow of water. You can accomplish this with a large filter and a very large tank. Fish who arent raised in captivity, caught in the ocean, are very depressed in a tank. They are used to being able to swim miles a day in a vast ocean, now their life dwindles down to sitting in a bowl. Please take him back to the ocean before he dies. If you want a fish, get a large tank, filter, and light. And buy him from an aquarium store. Good luck.

i really, really hope this is a joke! put it in the ocean immediately or it will die a horrible, painful, torturous death. it is as simple as that.

you cant keep a saltwater fish in a bowl for one! poor thing, he is miserable and not to mention stressed beyond beleif. Let him free!!!!!!!!

are you serious???how cruel, once he was swimming free in the sea, next thing hes shoved in a bowl, scared to death, and not able to escape. what are you planning on feeding him, as he will already be used to certain foods. the travelling will be traumatic to him, just let him go and be free again.
