Any suggestions...
I am requesting you sincere consideration in reviewing my financial aid reinstatement. My name is xxxxxxx and I am requesting a appeal for the 2009-2010 academic school year. Seven years ago in 2002 I was dismissed from your college due to academic issues. The reason I left was to become a homemaker. It is now I know that this decision was childish and immature.

Since then I have been married and divorced, and I am now a single mother of three young children. I have matured tremendously and I am a responsible. My education has always been something that I desired to obtain, however my ex-husband did not want that for me. Instead he was the sole breadwinner for our family, and because of this I learned to depend on him for my family’s needs. However, he has decided to move on, and now I am depending on Social Services (welfare) for our needs.

It has been my dream to become an Elementary School Teacher, and I feel and believe that I am ready to pursue this dream. I wish to start with the Certificate and then to continue study for my Associates and then to transfer for my Bachelors Degree. The only thing that is hindering me from achieving this goal is having the funding to attend.

I know that if this appeal is approved I will be successful. I will do whatever it takes to acheieve my goal. I have taken all the steps neccecary to start school on September 2, 2009 and I am ready to begin my studies and reach for higher levels of acheivment. I am a hard working student and the upcoming semester will prove so.

So again, I ask for your sincere consideration in reviewing my eligibility. Please take this letter into consideration and give me another chance to prove my dedication.

Thanks for Your Time,
