Is my car battery dead?? Please tell me its jus the battery?

I think i killed the battery. I jus bought this car it passed inspection and has a new altenator and battery and transmission. I was cleaning the car out and listening to the music without the car on jus on battery power... for about an hour or so... Does that mean i killed the battey? its a 1995 chevy cavalier. Well the battery was supposed to be neww?? but i think the person i bought it from jus lied to me. my bro is a mechanic too he i goin to look at it after work i jus wana make sure i dnt need a new starter or sumthn
