I just bought a 2 new Pioneer Premier Champion Series 12" subwoofers off a friend of mine with a Power Acoustik Gothic Series 1250 amp. I got everything installed and the amp worked for about 5-6 minutes and the ground came loose from the amp and touched the hotwire coming from the battery and i cut off the car & stereo. I plugged everything back in and all i could get from the subs was a low hissing noise kinda like static, I checked every fuse i have connected to the damn thing and even took the amp apart to check for scorching and nothing. The amp light still comes on and the subs bump when i cut the amp on/off, but other than that no signal makes it to the subs.
Is it blown?
Everything reads right with my multimeter, I just don't fucking get it.
