I was driving through a good bit of rain and flooding yesterday, and when I reached my destination, my car alarm sounded really muted when I armed my car, and now I can't set it off. I don't know if it's just temporary water damage and needs to dry out, or if my alarm drowned in the rain. If anyone knows what could be wrong, and could suggest how to fix it, could you help? I'm going to the actual alarm place some time this week, but I'd like some peace of mind a little sooner 
Oh, and I drive a 2005 Toyota RAV4, if that makes a difference.
