I recently ordered a Blackberry 9900 on the last week of October, and I went and picked it up today. Before I brought it home I noticed that there were finger prints on the plastic cover the of the screen. I questioned the gentleman and he said that it is because they need to touch it the screen to install the battery and the SIM card. After setting up email and some other devices, I noticed that there were two messages from August in my "Messages" folder. How come there are two old messages in my Messages folder from August, when I purchased it on the last week of October? How do I know if the is a new model or a returned model? The two messages from August are titled "Registration" and "Hello From Your New Blackberry". Now if I were to go and complain about it and if it is a returned model which they are trying to sell to me, what could I do in regards of the already person information which I installed on the phone? In my excited state of having this new Blackberry device I stated installing the personal information the day I got the phone, before realizing the old messages.
