Is my beta fish dying?

I just cleaned my fish's tank and now he is staying at the top and he wont eat anything. He normally swims around and eats all of his food but now he wont really swim and he is just staying at the top of the tank and rarely moves his fins. I have had him for a year and he has never acted like this. I even changed the water again just to make sure I did everything right but he still is just staying at the top and in the corner and he keeps swimming into the wall.

that is what my betta did and he died and when he died he was bloated

add 1/4 teaspoon of aquarium salt per gallon of water and see if that helps

mine is acting wierd too... only he is staying at the bottom... its my first fish and I will be so upset if he dies. I hope mine and yours pull through!
