I've got a school assignment were i am to write 3 standard ballad stanzas (3 iambic pentameter stanzas). I gave it a shot but i might think i have some errors, could you locate them and correct them for me?
The lads sat at their local bar
Drinking before the game
their going to watch their favorite team
Losing it would be a shame
Then up and spoke an elderly man
“ were going to win the game”
All the lads cheered “oh yes,
the victory our team will claim!”
The first thing that the lads did see
a goal it surely was
cheering like their lives been speared
they gave a warm applause.
