Does Murad work to clear up the skin from minor discoloration? I get some pimples here and there from time to time. Will Murad clear up my skin, and get rid of the pimple after marks. The website is so temtping to make me buy it. Should I? What results does it really give?

I use Murad and it has improved my skin very much. It's not completely clear yet, but has considerably improved my once explosive, very frustrating blemishes that I had all over my face. It has cleared my forehead and cheeks very well. My only problem now is around my jaw and chin, but even now I am seeing improvements. I also suffer from post-acne marks and I am using Murad's pigment lightening gel from which I am noticing results.

Murad uses salicylic acid which is much easier on your skin than Proactive, which uses benzyl peroxide. Along with Murad, I have also started taking Fish Oil, which I believe has aided in Murad's success. (You can read about fish oil on this site).

If you are like me and have seemed to have tried everything with no avail, I would suggest giving Murad a try. So far, it is shaping up to be my acne miracle!

I would be interested in knowing your success if you do decide to pursue Murad. Good luck!

I bought the murad body wash and it did nothing for me. I used the entire tube before judging and my body acne is exactly the same - a few more pimples popped up as some other ones cleared up. So I would say it didn't do anything different than regular soap. But this is just the acne body wash (the substance is a light blue color). I never tried any other murad product.

Murad didn't really work for me. I think it made my acne worse. But you can give it a shot and try using it with fish oil like kab said maybe that will help.

I only saw results after the "purging period" which is when the product begins to rid your skin of blemishes that are under the skin and have not yet formed. This period occured after two weeks of use. If you use Murad (or really any new product) I wouldn't be discouraged by this because it usually means it is working.
