Is msnbc a good unbiased news source?

Was wondering if MSNBC was considered by those on here as a reliable source for news.
I was just wondering how many would support a news source that is a fully owned subsidiary of G.E. and that terrorist supporter Jeffery Imelt.

Don't forget if the public option passes GE will get all the contracts to do the financial record keeping bit of the bill. You know the part where they have full access to your financial records at the touch of a button. Man people actually support that.

If cap and trade passes guess who gets the most money for their products. Yep it is GE again.

MSNBC is solely in the tank for the obama administration. It is in no way to be trusted. You should just call it state run media.

I watch Msnbc and Cnn but there are biased shows on those that you might want to avoid. Fox is not the answer, no matter what party you belong to.

You are not going to get a completely unbiased news source. The question you should be asking is do you want to get your news from the left-wing propaganda machine (MSNBC) or the right-wing propaganda machine(Fox)?

Your an idiot if you think ANY Television News Media is a good source for unbiased news. The TV news is simply over-sensationalized political theatrics meant to increase ratings and make money.

The best way to find that out would be to take a research methodology class of how journalist conduct their work. I find the reporting better than some other corporate owned stations.

Check out Democracy Now! Real News Network, Grit Tv, The Nation, Common Dreams, Mother Jones

Reliable news and biased/unbiased news are two different things. The news can be reliable but biased. I check different news sources like MSNBC, CNN, BBC to get different views. I even check alternative news sites to see what's being said out there and not in mainstream media (the economy and H1N1 vaccines are big in alternative news right now).
