Is mr smithers gay

Yes there was. In it Homer was hypmotized(sp?) and remerabered a tramatic event from his childhood where he found Smitter Sr.`s body in the quary, which caused him to do this helpless yell constantly.

Wasn't there an episode where we found out that Smither's dad, who worked at SNPP (Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, not The Simpsons Archive), had died at the power plant? Then Mr. Burns sort of looked out for Smithers, like a father.

I doubt it, but they sure do act like they are.
Lenny "We're coming up on Mt. Carlmore. I carved that one wonderful summer."

Lenny "There's nothing on that helicopter for me."
Carl "Don't be so sure!"
Lenny "Carl Carlson!"

Anyone who has watched the Simpsons as much i have over the years know that Smitters is gay. Those moments on the link are pretty obvious indicators of it. I like to see an episode where Smitters get interested in someone a lot younger than Mr. Burns, which makes Smitters questions his feelings for Mr. Burns. Of course Homer has to be involved in it.

It's kind of ironic but I saw this thread the other day and then right after reviewing the entire thing I turned on the Simpsons and they were at a scene where Mr. Burns tells Homer: "It's so fun being with you, monkey, my old assistant Smithers would never do something like that...he doesn't know the meaning of the word 'gay'." Then, as soon as that scene ended, it went to another scene where Smithers was on stage--wearing a black wig--and he was playing the Ken to Malibu Stacy's Barbie. It was comical and ironic at the same time.

I wish someone documented my sexuality.

But, hey, I think this is just another "which state is Springfield in?" type of question. It'll never be straight-out answered on the show, but can still provide thousanRAB of website dedicated to the topic.
