Is “Molest Suspect” a proper phrase to use when referring to a suspect in a molestation case? I see this used on a local new channel’s graphic when referring to a suspect and it just doesn’t seem right to me. Anyone?

Please provide english rules or other evidence that I can use in my email to them. Thanks!
I actually work there and this is a fun argument beween me and the writers. I want to fire back to them saying it is fine with some evidence that it is not.

It should have been. "The suspect in the molestation case". Or "The accused of the molested"
