Is minipulating possitive emotions evil?

On another thread, I was dicuessing the Care Bears and I realised they are hypocrits, and their desires for the world is just as evil as their villains who want to sufficate the world with darkness. The CB want to sufficate the world with lightness.

The Care Bears use their powers to force people to be happy and good, minipulating and taking their free will.

I thought of an idea for a series, the story is of trying to free the world from the mind controls of evil. At first, the enemy is the typical villains trying to force war, dictatorship, darkness, yada, yada, yada. You get the idea, these alien creatures, have power to minipulate emotion, at first they are allies to the heros, but than they want to use their power, and try to increase it, to forcefully bring peace and happiness, and force everybody to feel happy like the Care Bears. But our heros realise the hypocritcy of this, and how they would be enslaving the world, and humans would not have any free will.

Grumpy Bear throws that hypothesis into doubt, as his thing is showing kids that it's OK to feel bad sometimes. In fact, in their first syndicated TV special, The Land Without Feelings, the Care Bears sing that "it's OK to laugh and cry."

I'm not a Care Bears or groupie or anything, just sayin'.

Well, there's always been something inherently fascist about kids' cartoons. Also, superheroes are an inherently fascist concept. I know this is basically a hilarious thread, but it does have a point.

Despite the destruction that occurs in Oopsy's wake, no one in Care-A-Lot dares take him out of their sight. Because deep down, he is still a demon lord of destruction capable of far worse and they must be on alert to prevent a relapse with a controlled intense firing squad Care Bear stare.
