IS MEDIA OVER BLOWING THE POLANSKI DEAL?

No definately not! He committed a crime. No 13-year-old can consent to sex. He is a pedophile and if he wasn't famous everybody would be cheering that this pedophile was finally caught instead of questioning whether it is right or wrong. We can celebrate his work and his art but he himself is a disgusting person that should be locked up. Like Kirstie Alley said in her statement, very rarely does a pedophile only commit an act once. So who knows how many others he took advantage of. Lock him up and throw away the key!
 
That is not the standard of law, my friend. Simply because someone eluded the law for thirty years does not justify a dismissal of charges. Remember also that the victim was paid by Polanski which is part of the reason she is saying the case should be dismissed. Frankly, if Mr. Polanski was innocent than why did he run and avoid all countries with extradition treaties for thirty years? WHy also did he pay the victim? This is a case of justice delayed....it doesn't mean that justice should be denied.
