Is lugia or ho oh better for gym leader battles?

After u catch which ever one u got first which one is better for the following gym battles.

It all depends on you. I personally love lugia. Psychic/Flying Eventually learns Aeroblast which is the strongest Flying attack that I know. Ho-oh only gust Gust. Shitty attack (pidgey knows it at level ten lol)

I don't like fire pokemon But Ho-oh is not so bad. Ho-oh can learn fly but Lugia can learn Fly and surf!!!

I recommend training a shuckle those are so much fun! It's the single pokemon with the highest defense in the game!!!

depends on who your fighting, lugia is a ice/water and he is probably good against electric and fire.

No, legendary birds aren't good enough on gym leader battles. It's better if you'll use fire type pokemon on its fully evolved form or fighting type.
