I am in grade 12 and registered to go to the university of alberta next year. I live in Edmonton which is where the university is but i still want to live in residence because i think it would be a fantastic experience. I really want to get involved and meet new people and enjoy the "best years of my life" as far as i am concerned. Cost is not an issue for me, im more concerned that i will go through university and not have any fun and have no great experiences to take with me for the rest of my life.
Would you recommend living in residence or is staying at home a better idea?
For the purposes of this question lets just assume that the experience of living in residence is the same in the states as it is in Canada (which im sure it is anyway)
