I have so many books on it, but I've never gotten the opportunity to get into it yet (trying to get into college).
My teachers keep recommending that I learn joomla, but I find php more interesting. Can anyone give me a good understanding and some examples why you think php is a good server sided scripting language?
Also, can anyone list some famous websites scripted with php? Thanks
