Is La Madeleine and Chili's restaurant really closing down for good because

of the bad economy? I heard from a classmate at school today that they are closing these two restaurants because of the horrible economy. The close, he said, is meant to be forever. OMG! What? I love that restaurant and I have hardly scratched the restaurants menu items. I would hate to see such delicious and reasonably priced entrees to disappear into thin air forever.

Please let me know you guys on your knowledge on this issue. Is this a fake, was he joking? Maybe he heard wrong. Or maybe its just the local Madeleine where I live. HELPP!!!!!!!!!!
 
There is a Chili's in my little town and it's doing just fine. I don't have a LaMad by me, and I never heard of any restaurants closing.

I heard of places like Best Buy closing because of WalMarts' cheaper prices.

I think he was pulling your leg. Go in and ask!
