is kristen stewart a good actress??

No, she is a terrible actress - dreading seeing New Moon because she is in it! Don't get me wrong, I will not be rushing out to spend my 'hard-earned' on seeing this at the cinema, but will 'acquire' it when the time is right (I did manage to see a couple of seconRAB from it, and 'fortunately' she was in those few seconRAB, and my memory of her 'acting prowess' was revived - I now believe I should be in the 3rd movie, since IMHO my acting skills are on a par with the female lead :)
 
nope she has totally ruined twilight for me am dreading seeing new moon if it wasnt for her i would have been first in line at the cinema. Just re-read breaking dawn and there is no way she can pull that book off and do it any justice she is bland and insipid
 
That is what will make up my mind for me i think. I don't know if i like her as Bella, i imagined Bella a lot different to how she is portraying her. When i read Breaking Dawn i thought, how will she pull this off. But time will tell.

That being said, i thought she was excellent in Adventureland. Unfortunately for her, people will forget this was shot before Twilight ever became what it is but people make the assumtion that they're watching Bella. I enjoyed her acting in this...twilight not so much. So many scenes in Twilight i felt uncomfortable watching.

New Moon however, she has steadily improved.
 
eh i don't buy it. i read the book to see wtf the hubbub was about. bella in book has no more depth than bella on film. it was all pining away for her boy...blabbity blah blah teen crush angst
 
i am not saying Bella in the books is a particularly exciting person with any depth imo she is the worst written character in the book but i still think she is played blander (shall we say) than she is in the book
 
Yes, she's a great young actress! Lately I find people expressing harsh opinions of her without bothering to look much beyond Twilight. It also seems to be forgotten that she is just 19 & will evolve/gain skill the more projects she undertakes. She was fab in Panic Room, Into The Wild, Adventureland & Speak not to mention a couple of other roles.

I really love Twilight series, but let's not pretend for one moment that Stephenie Meyer is the greatest writer or that her books these are the best pieces of literary work ever--they are pure & utter cheese. When it comes to the 1st Twi movie, for me, Kristen made the Bella character more likeable & I think overall she gave the strongest performance given the souce material but I admit a couple of scenes (like the hospital) were not good. In New Moon she was so much better, pretty much carries that movie & has received plenty of positive critical response for her performance.

She has some fab movies coming out such as The Runaways, Welcome To The Rileys & The Yellow Hankerchief which I think will better showcase her talent, range, increasing maturity & growth as an actor.
 
I really like Emma Watson & hope she will prove to be a great actress:). Time will tell as we haven seen her do much beyond playing Hermione Granger.
 
If I judged on the Twilight films i'd rate her as poor/average. But after seeing her in Speak and the cake eaters i'd happily say she's one of the best of her generation. She looks uncomfortable in the character of Bella yet in completely damaged and troubled characters she pulls them of with ease.
