Is knowing Photoshop required in order to be a "pro" photographer?

I know in theory, "post processing doesn't make the photographer, it's the camera, and the photographer's skill with it"

BUT, it just seems that in every situation, the difference that separates the average from the pros, is post processing.

It also seems like every "pro" shot I see, has been Photoshopped in one way or another...every photo! It's not like there's a good one evey once in a while that I see that is amazing, and hasn't been Photoshopped.
