is kawasaki a good brand?

i am buying a used kawasaki dirt bike with a lot of after market parts and i had a honda which wasnt that good so i need to no please just answer yes or no and why thanks a lot
 
YES, Kawasaki makes FANTASTIC bikes for both street and dirt. It all depends on whether or not you know a good bike from a hole in the ground before you shell out the cash for a used one though. ANY bike can be abused or neglected till it isn't any good.
 
i own a klr its great,parts are cheep, doesn't break down, we have had the head ported,aftermarket exhaust,bigger jets,new needle, its a perfect trail bike,
 
All the Japanese companies make a good product. As the other answerer stated, any bike can be neglected to death. I personally have owned Kawasaki street bikes for the last 13 years. I have been a motorcycle mechanic for 35 years and see no more Kawasaki bikes than I see any other brand. I have owned over the 40 years of riding Harley (which I will not go back to until they make a product worthy of my dollars), Honda, which has world class engines but fit, finish and charging system issues has always bee n their issue, Suzuki and Kawasaki bikes which have been okay. Yamaha I absolutely love everything about them except they refuse to put radiators on most of their street bikes, which is rediculous in this day and age.
