is jumping a dirt bike hard?

im mean as in to Control it. like if the front end is too much forward i pull it up and if the front is too high i push it down. idk if im right but give me tips on how to jump. plz Only post i you have jumped like a 5-15 ft jump no landing for a landing. Thx(im new and i wanna jump on home made jumps with no landing and sometimes it will have a landing.
 
well i would advise when you go to a jump up shift and keep the throttel at the same place after than just try to keep yourself balanced and than you can increase you speed as you get more expirenced
 
well, if the front end is down too much lean back [hold on though] and if it is up lean forward and give it a little gas [just halfway for about a second]
stand up when you ramp.
