I am thinking of joining the Australian army, and have pretty much no reservations except this and more specifically, do you have time for girlfriends, wives, kids, family and loved ones?
In the Army and Navy, no. Maybe join the air force? Better pay and conditions, can be close to home. Myself on the other hand would prefer to set sail while im young.
