Is it wrong to pay homeless to debate?

My friend had the idea of telling two homeless people that he would give money to the one who could give him the best rationale for giving money to them.
please provide your rationale.
 
No, it ain't wrong. You should make them fight to the death. It's a good way to execute population control.
