Ok, so my main male and female character were talking or more like insulting on the females part. So here is how the conversation goes.

"Wow, I didn't know they let twelve year olds in here." I retorted.

"Actually for your information I recently turned eighteen."

"Big deal just two year old then me."

"Almost two and a half.

"Huh?" I replied dumbly in my confusion.

"I was born on October 31st. You were born on March 12th making us nearly two and a half years apart."

"How do you know my birthday? You are seriously freaking me out, Edward Cullen." I nearly yelled with my eyes widening in horror.

"It's Noctavian, deary." he said as he walked away from me.

Should I take the Edward Cullen part out? Especially because Noctavian ( NOT A VAMPIRE ) is a telepath?
Oh, she barely knows him. So that's why him knowing her birthday freaks her out. That and her randomly shows up as a new student at her private school.

I don't think what you are doing is insulting. And believe me, is Stephen King can get away with saying that Stephanie Meyer is the worst writer in the world (true) then you can get away with sarcastically using the name of a character.
