...when you are married? The relationship is long distance, my wife will not accept God in her life and when we write back and forth I always feel better about myself and with my life. Is this wrong?
Absolutely not, She is a human being and the relationship doesn't have to only be about god. Think about it, you have to give up your life here and now to work for god and then after you die you get to spend the rest of eternity serving god. God is a jealous god but he know we have needs and no one is perfect. Yes it would be better if she accepted Jesus as her savior but it doesn't have to happen for you to be together.
It isn't wrong, it's like saying that having friends is wrong. As long as your not doing anything but talking and being friends it is ok, as far as this person making you feel better that is friends do they make us feel better. you also feel better after talking to this person because you are allowed to be yourself with them which is something that your wife isn't allowing you to do.
I would talk to your wife thought and let her know about this friend so that she doesn't come across any e-mails or IM's and think your cheating on her. I wish you the best of luck and hope it all works out for you.
