is it worth the risk to flash a xbox 360?

well i saw this guy online and he had a mod and he sent me instructions to flash my 360 and mod disc but i have heard that if you get found out xbox will never let you go on live again even with a different gamertag is there anyway round this btw were in britain can i get 360 flashed? thxyou
 
Well, its a personal preference. Would you rather every game that you could possibly want for the price of disks, or the ability to play great games like CoD4/WaW and Halo 3 online. Also a thought, if you open up your Xbox or Flash it you void your warranty, so find someone who can fix Red Ring and all other errors, and flash it so you wont need Microsoft to fix it, because they will get you to send your broken Xbox the them, and they won't fix it if you flash it.
